Our prompt for September is rice! As you know, Bob, rice shows up a lot in GF baking and cooking and is a staple in savory (and sweet!) dishes across the globe. There are many types of rice beyond the basic white or brown long grain. There's also short grain sticky rice, medium grain arborio rice, wild rice (which isn't a rice at all!), and even black or "forbidden" rice.

Share your favorite rice things with us, or—if you need to avoid it—your favorite rice-free things. It's all good.

To fill this prompt, you can:

  2. Write up a favorite recipe and post it to the comm.
