or so I've always found. Recipe seems tasty and I agree, sometimes it's all about the information you get when making it( gut, intuition, wet thumb ).

I use a pancake mix to make pancakes and I long ago stopped using the recipe on the back of the package. I mix equal amounts of liquid and baking mix and pour onto the griddle. I don't actually think the recipe asks for the egg I beat with the added water to meet whatever volume I'm planning (one half cup of each makes a lovely plateful for my dining pleasure). And in the end if there is slightly too much liquid or the batter is drier than usual doesn't really affect the cooking except for timing...since I need to cook out the extra water or pull 'em before the thicker batter gets too toasty.

I say no apology needed, you gave the basic recipe and indicated where adjustments might be made. Hurrah!

And now do I let my husband have that last banana for breakfast tomorrow or shall I start mashing...?
